Where did you grow up?
Summers in Greece, and the rest in the GTA suburbs.
What brought you to Toronto?
Escaping the suburbs.
What do you do for a living?
I’m a graphic designer, and owner/designer of my own housewares line, trish + co.
How did you get started?
I studied fashion at Ryerson for two years, before switching to York-Sheridan for design. After working in Toronto’s design industry for several years, my fiancé and I moved to London, UK and I did my design master’s at Central Saint Martins.
What’s your favourite thing about your neighbourhood?
How accessible it is to everything else in the city, including great places like Allan Gardens and the St Lawrence Market.
What’s the last treasure you found?
A selection of fine teas from Paper & Tea in Berlin.
If you were going to eat your last meal in Toronto, where and what would you eat?
A long, leisurely brunch at Smith with the folks I love most.
If you could have a sleepover with anyone who has ever existed, who would it be?
My grandfather, or my fiancé’s grandfather, who I never had the chance to meet.
If your life was a TV show, what would be the theme song?
All In One Move by Hayden — still remains one of the sweetest music videos I’ve ever seen.
What does Toronto need that it doesn’t have now?
Our transit system and current mayor both have room for improvement.
